About Larisa



From struffoli cookies on Christmas morning to waiting for the fig tree to bloom every summer with my siblings, food has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember.
Growing up, I spent hours inventing dishes made from whatever organic ingredients I could gather while playing in my backyard. This childhood activity of concocting various “weed stews” morphed over time into a passion for creating culinary delicacies – edible of course – and I’ve been experimenting with creative cooking ever since.
Now as a high schooler, my passion for spending time outdoors has led to new hobbies like golf, visiting the beach, having a boat day with friends and family, or competing in soccer as co-captain of my school’s team. As an athlete and chef, I enjoy easy and nutritional foods, but also love a good, sweet treat.
